Fellowship of Barnabas Partners equips Christians to help nonprofits.
How, exactly, do we do that? Through Education, Encouragement, and Connections.

Social enterprise initiatives (nonprofits generating income)
Best practices in nonprofit boards
Effective leadership of volunteers
Past speakers have included experts such as these:
David Weekley
Legendary Homebuilder, Philanthropist, and Mentor
Willam Vanderbloemen
Leadership and Executive Search Guru

Paula Burns, CIC, CRM
Nationally Recognized Nonprofit Insurance Expert
Encouragement
Inspired by our namesake, Barnabas (the "son of encouragement"), at our Breakfasts we prioritize both giving and receiving courage toward more effective nonprofit service. Through guided table conversations led by our Partners, each participant's story is heard, those stories are connected to the topic of the morning, individuals are personally prayed for, and commitments to remain in contact are made.
Connections
Breakfast participants include Christian business owners, church ministers, nonprofit board members and staff, and civic leaders. All ages are represented, from recent college graduates to retirees. You will meet a surprising array of professions from all parts of the Houston region. Passions span every imaginable social and spiritual need. From the first cup of coffee through in-depth table talk and lingering conversations afterwards, connections are made which lead to collaboration, new board members, and more effective ministry.
Breakfast Details
We meet at Houston’s First Baptist (The Loop, I-10 @ 610) and enjoy a delicious hot breakfast from their catering kitchen. There is no charge to attend, thanks to the generosity of our Partners. All are welcome to register to join us - invite your colleagues, your staff, your board, your friends!
